Dear Heather,
I understand that Rick Perry is considering a Presidential run in 2012. If I remember correctly-he is the Texas governor that threatened secession when Obama became President. Do you think it is wise to support a candidate who is not necessarily sold on the idea of "The United States of America?"

Implicit in your question, lies the answer itself. One would think a Presidential candidate would need to support the concept of a union.
