No Candy in the Break Room

Dear Heather,
I have a situation at work, and was wondering, when is it ok to snitch on someone?

Dear Curtis,
It's ok to snitch on someone when their actions adversely affect your job. For example, if someone is stealing candy from the break room, and there's no candy for you when you go in there, then it's ok to tell on them. This is because it affects you. Never let anyone steal your candy.
